This is Wild Domestic debut record, mixed alongside Tim Glasgow (Sonic Youth, Metric). Wild Domestic exhibit an effortless ability to move back and forth between loud and subtle parts, relying just as heavily on the contrasts within their songs as they do their impressive cohesiveness. With commanding vocals or wordless stories, their sonically driven songs are equal parts loud and quiet, long yet deliberate, feverish then relaxed. The real beauty lies in trying to keep up with them in their musical landscape.
